CertainTeed ThermaEZE(TM) Seminars Offered to Concrete Poured Wall Contractors
Valley Forge, Pennsylvania (September 18, 2006) -- CertainTeed Corporation recently hosted ThermaEZE(TM) Thermal Insulation System Seminars in Pennsylvania and Iowa, and is now making the course available to poured wall contractors nationwide. The ThermaEZE seminar provides hands-on demonstrations and information on how the new system can help contractors meet builder demand for well-insulated basements that increase the amount of livable space in the home.
“Many contractors we’ve talked to have heard of ThermaEZE but don’t know much about it,” says Steve Gross, Director of Marketing for CertainTeed Foundations. “We want to educate our customers on how ThermaEZE can help create code-compliant and thermally efficient poured concrete walls, while ultimately helping contractors grow their businesses by providing more value to their builders.”
A revolutionary new approach to insulated wall construction, ThermaEZE is a cost-effective insulation system for poured concrete walls, both above-and below-grade. ThermaEZE consists of panels of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam sized to work well with most standard aluminum forming systems. The foam panels are set within the wall forms prior to the concrete pour, and remain in place after the forms are removed to reveal a fully insulated wall surface. The innovative system offers high R-value, ready-to-finish walls, and superior moisture, mildew and termite resistance.
