CIFA USA Introduces to the Untied States the Newly Engineered K41 XRZ

Yorkville, Wisconsin (September 8, 2006) -- CIFA USA introduces its newly engineered K41 XRZ. The 5 section “R-Z” boom truck comes from field experience of the famous K40 model. The new K41 brings several outstanding improvements with special attention to the weight requirements and working conditions of the United States.

The K41 XRZ continues the CIFA tradition by being the only 5 section boom pump in the 40 meter range in the United States Market. The 5th section provides maximum flexibility and maneuverability for the ever changing conditions an operator can face on a daily basis at a job site.

The Boom has been designed with the “RZ” configuration which increases flexibility and maneuverability in order to pump closer to the cabin and over slab obstacles. Also the boom has butt-welding which reduces weight. In order to extend the lifetime of the wear parts in the boom, the pipeline consists of medium and long radius elbows. The features introduced in the boom have made possible to move the center of gravity towards the truck cabin, increasing boom length, and improving weight distribution.

The Turret has been engineered as a straight 90 degree angle, and the turret sub-frame has been fully developed to accommodate for better weight distribution between the front and rear axles increasing stabilization and reducing set-up area.
The pump frame has been designed to allow better weight distribution and reduce torsion on the frame. Also extra support was added to the pumping unit in order to reduce stress on seals and rod guides.

Other features of the new K41XRZ include a new aluminum casing to prevent corrosion; lights added to front and rear outriggers in order to work in dark conditions; accessible water pump location to allow for easy assembly and maintenance; and new hydraulic fluid system to improve oil cooling.

All the above upgrades where made to accommodate the United States weight standards as well as the requirements of our consumers and the job field.

The release of the new K41 boom will allow operators to increase the machine performance on the jobsites as well as the lifetime of wear parts and reduce maintenance costs.
