CIFA USA celebrates completion of new headquarters
Yorkville, Wisconsin (September 7, 2006) -- On July 17th, CIFA USA, Inc. celebrated its Grand Opening at the new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility near Milwaukee, just one year after the Groundbreaking Ceremony in 2005.
Matteo Rolla, Senior Vice President of CIFA USA, Inc. is pleased with the rapid completion of the 8-acre facility, which was fast-tracked in just seven months. The new headquarters has 38,000 square feet of production area with state-of-the-art equipment; 85,000 square feet paved area, and 5,600 square feet of office space.
The large turnout of CIFA USA customers and vendors from across the country participated in a facilities tour of the new office space, parts department and production area, followed by hands-on demonstrations of the newest 2007 CIFA equipment models. The CIFA “A” Series portable concrete pumps, the newly re-engineered K36 and K31 and the new K41 and K48 truck-mounted boom pumps, which were developed exclusively for the U.S. market, were available for demonstrations.
The festivities began during the weekend with a charter boat on Lake Michigan for the fishing enthusiasts. On Monday, customers and vendors were invited to meet the expanding CIFA USA sales, service and production personnel and learn more about our company’s ‘Quality First’ philosophy over lunch and refreshments. The CIFA story was told with a video presentation and each manager gave a short presentation on his or her area of expertise.
Customers posed for souvenir photos featuring Milwaukee’s own Harley-Davidson 2006 model motorcycles. The day’s activities continued into the evening with a cruise along the Milwaukee River and out into Lake Michigan showcasing Milwaukee’s downtown landmarks including the harbor marina, the world-class Milwaukee Art Museum and finished with a three-course dinner, drinks and dessert.
