ACPA Safety Manual Updated
Lewis Center, Ohio (August 14, 2006) -- The ACPA Safety Manual has recently been updated. The new version, Safety Manual 5.0.1 contains (2) significant changes from previous versions.
- Revised verbiage concerning the minimum safe distance to stay away from regarding starting/restarting or cleaning out
- An update of the pipe wall thickness chart currently found on Page 73
The manual is also available in Spanish (Version 5.1.1). Both English and Spanish versions are available at a cost of $10.00 per copy. You can place your order online or reply to jan@concretepumpers.com.
Help us make these publications effective for jobsite safety by keeping a copy for each of your operators in their trucks, and encourage them to read and understand the safety rules. Please instruct your operators to make the co-worker safety information available to the placing crew and laborers, and to read aloud the information to the workers if they believe they would not understand the printed text.
Once you receive the updated manual(s), please discard any previous versions.
