MOUNT VERNON, IOWA (March 17, 2005) -- The Minnesota Concrete Foundation Association (MCFA), will host the first Concrete Foundations Association (CFA) Regional Meeting on Saturday, April 2, at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis-Airport in Bloomington, MN.
The regional meeting is a daylong event that offers concurrent tracks for management/ owners and workers in the poured wall industry. Topics include form theft, safety, liability, sub-contracts and more. Educational seminars start at 8:00 a.m. and end with a tradeshow reception from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
The cost of the seminar is $125 for CFA members in the management track and $75 for their employees. Nonmember price is $250 for individuals and $175 for additional registrants. Lunch is provided.
The MCFA is local chapter of the CFA, a voluntary, nonprofit association that brings together concrete contractors and professionals nationwide to improve the quality of cast-in-place concrete walls and foundations. The CFA provides promotional materials, educational seminars, and networking opportunities to its members and the industry.
