Annual Meeting to be Held at Adventurer's Club
Join us at the Adventurers Club on Disney's Pleasure Island for 2000 edition of the Concrete Foundations Association annual winter meeting. Renew old friendships, make new friends, and find out what's working and what's not from your peers around the country. The gathering will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Adventurers Club. Take yourself back in time to the 1930's.
The Adventurers Club is where the world's most eccentric explorers convene to swap tall tales. You can visit with a marvelously mad professor, a dashing daredevil pilot, a frisky French maid and other characters while enjoying a live stage show featuring everything from talking masks and a floating head to a ghostly piano!
A buffet will be served during the meeting and will feature three types of salad; beef, chicken, and fish; smoked corn on the cob and dessert.
The cost also includes full access to the Island's attractions. Following the festivities at the Club, guests can visit one or all of the venues for the rest of the evening. Clubs include the Comedy Warehouse, BET Soundstage Club, Jazz Company, 8 Trax, Mannequins, Wildhorse Saloon, and the Rock N' Roll Beach Club.
You are welcome to stay and enjoy the nightly New Year's Eve Celebration featuring a high energy dance number, laser and light countdown and fireworks extravaganza, starting at 11:45 p.m. Pleasure Island is located on Buena Vista Drive and there is free parking. After 7:00 p.m. admission is restricted to those 18 and over unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The CFA is a voluntary, nonprofit association that brings together concrete contractors and professionals nationwide to improve the quality of cast-in-place concrete walls and foundations.
The CFA provides promotional materials, educational seminars, and networking opportunities to its members and the industry. CFA also works on behalf of its members and the entire industry to develop support and influence code bodies.
