CFA Awards
CFA Basements of the Year
The “Basement of the Year” was created in 1999 to begin recognizing the unbelievable side of the residential concrete foundation business. During the next six years, this program became affectionately known as the “Basement from Hell”.
In 2007, the program was updated to be more representative of the broad market that concrete professionals in the CFA cover. No longer simply about THE most unbelievable basement, this award program seeks to recognize the accomplishments of the many professional contractors as they apply their skill and creativity to residential structures of all sizes, commercial projects, above-grade projects and anything else that requires out-of-the-box thinking.
Check out the incredible projects below for examples of the complexity that is possible with poured wall basement construction.
Eleven projects were submitted for this year’s installment of the CFA Basement of the Year.
Head over to the voting page, check out the projects and cast your ballot!
Winners for 2008 will be released by the CFA in February following judging that occurs through the CFA magazine Concrete Facts, this website and during the World of Concrete at the CFA booth #N2027
