Significant Footing Details:
The footings were a little challenging because there were 8 different footing sizes for this project. Among the 8 different footing sizes were 341 LF of Frost Footing and 50 LF of a 6’-4” wide footing x 14” thick with a 6” x 6” key and an extensive rebar design.
Outstanding Features:
There were 11 different radius walls on this project. In two separate areas of this home there were three radius wall that intersected each other. The entire house was rapped with real stone and required a custom 6” stone ledge that changed depths due to proposed grades.
Project Complexities:
The complexity of this was extreme due to the changing footing and wall details and elevations. The radius walls were also difficult b/c of the fact that three radius walls intersected at two different locations. The stone ledge was also difficult b/c it was so many different sizes & was custom built.
