Significant Footing Details:

Due to the spancrete deck the width of the footings was minimal. The footings for this project consisted mainly of #6 bar @ 6” centers vertically and #5 bar running horizontally in the footing.

Project Complexities:

This project included many different types of concrete work, from grade beams, and spread footings to suspended decks and cantilevered slabs. Most all forming systems were designed on site. The superintendent designed most of the systems with the
aid of our project mangers.

Special Materials or Processes:

We used an onsite CAD system to draw wall profiles and a plan view of the project. We also used it to assist us in the layout of the elliptical stairs. By using CAD we were able to provide the architect with drawings before construction was started of design and structural elements that may not have worked.
