Outstanding Features:
15’-10” w/ #5 @ 12” o.c. Approx. 60 sleeves for radiant deck 10” thick and approx. 40 sleeves for 1st Flr heating penetrating top of wall inside and out. Many windows and sleeves for flu and doorway, windows, etc along with an elevator shaft and footings.
What technology did you use:
We used Auto-Cad, an in-house custom rebar- takeoff program, and a Trimble Geodimeter 5500 Total Station with C.U. Data Collector. It took nearly 25 trips to the jobsite to layout the 370+ points for the footing and foundation.
Describe the project:
The fact that the beam pockets and floor shelf needed to incorporate 2” pvc sleeves through the shelving was difficult.
Four (4) days alone went into the prep before pouring the concrete. The windows and doors were framed with P.T. wood to customer’s request. Total Station was used for placement of bolts elevator shaft. A great challenge to me and my guys as boxes and 8” foundation do get boring after 35 years.
